About

I'm Tanya.

A mother, French-Australian, living in Paris since 2015, and a teacher of Vedic Meditation.

For years I worked in global communications for a large international organisation. Like many people, I was looking for a way to deal with anxiety and insomnia. I tried several meditation techniques without success: it was frustrating, and I always felt I was "doing it wrong".

In 2016 I discovered Vedic Meditation. For the first time, meditating was simple, enjoyable, and it worked. I wanted to pass the practice on.

My training

My teacher training involved over 3,000 hours of study, including a 12-week immersion in the Indian Himalayas with masters of the Vedic tradition.

I was personally trained by Shri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Maharishi Vyasanand Giri Maharaj — Thom Knoles, the first Westerner to be inducted as a Mahamandaleshwar in the Shankaracharya tradition.

I graduated with the special blessing and endorsement of Shri Shri 1008 Swami Kailashanand Giri, one of the highest authorities in the Vedic world.

Vedic Meditation

Vedic Meditation comes from the Veda, the body of knowledge of ancient India. It has been passed on for thousands of years from teacher to student, in person. That's why it can't be learned from a book or an app: each student receives their own personal mantra and learns to use it effortlessly.

I teach in Paris, throughout France and, on request, I travel across Europe to share this practice with you: in your home, in the calm of a country house, or wherever life takes you. In English as in French.
