Terms of sale
Terms and conditions of sale (CGV)
English translation for information. The French version prevails. In force from 28 September 2026.
1. Purpose
These terms govern registration for the Vedic Meditation courses offered by Tanya Dyhin ("the teacher") under the name Vedic Meditation Paris. Registering for a course implies acceptance of these terms.
2. Courses
The learn-to-meditate course runs over four consecutive days, about 90 minutes per day, one-to-one or in a small group, in Paris.
3. Fee
The fee follows a sliding scale: it equals one week of the student's income, i.e. their annual gross income divided by 52. The amount is agreed with the student before registration. For people without their own income, a suitable exchange is agreed together. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (CGI).
4. Payment
Payment is due as soon as you book your course dates, by bank transfer or bank card. Your registration is only confirmed once payment has been received. Cheques are not accepted. Payment in instalments is possible on request, with a French bank card, for an additional fee of €50. If payment is difficult, please contact the teacher to discuss it.
5. Right of withdrawal
For a registration made at a distance, you have 14 days from registration to withdraw, without giving a reason. If, at your express request, the course starts before this period ends, you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal can no longer be exercised once the course has been fully completed.
6. Refunds and rescheduling
Subject to the right of withdrawal in section 5, payments are non-refundable. In case of illness or exceptional circumstances, the course can be rescheduled to another date: please let the teacher know as early as possible.
If the teacher has to cancel a course, you'll be offered a new date, or a full refund.
7. Invoicing
For payment by bank transfer, an invoice is sent to you by email before the transfer. For payment by bank card, a receipt is sent to you by email.
8. Liability
Vedic Meditation is a wellbeing practice. It does not replace medical advice or treatment. If you are receiving treatment or have a health condition, talk to your doctor.
